MIND

20 Illnesses and Their Emotional Cause

I was having a conversation with two of my aunts. We were discussing illnesses and health. They both have suffered from illnesses that magically appeared and magically disappeared. Nevertheless other illnesses hadn’t gone away and they’ve been taking medication to endure them.

Where am I trying to go with this? That I couldn’t help but wonder, can illnesses be caused by emotional trauma and hazardous mindsets? Of course they can. At least in most cases.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m a user of allopathic medicine as well. When I got salmonella there wasn’t enough turmeric tea I could drink to make it go away. I had to take antibiotics for three weeks.

But still, remembering my multiple stays in the hospital during my teenage years due to gastritis and ulcers, I remembered, how it magically disappeared when I started trusting myself more and feeling a little less frighten about life. Allopathic medicine was a great aid to endure the agonizing pain, however, it never really cured the cause.

Well… This book (where I’ve taken the information from) actually helped me become aware of how my feelings, emotions and mindset were affecting my health. It’s not exactly easy to cure ourselves just by consciously realizing our negative emotions. Nevertheless, the first step is to become aware of what feeling is causing what illness.

I’m only mentioning a few illnesses which I think are the most common. If you wish to see the complete list then you are more than welcome to purchase Louis’ book (I’ve mentioned it at the bottom of this list). It’s also important to mention that many of this feelings and thoughts are hardly remembered by our conscious mind, these are the thoughts that are, unfortunately, engraved in the subconscious mind. However, once the conscious mind becomes aware of them is when the healing process can begin.

The path that is chosen in healing these negative emotions and thoughts is very personal. Some might go to therapy, others can consult self-help books or even meditation which can do wonders in healing every inch of our body.
